A laid-back, social evening for anyone who loves video games. Think hanging out with friends after school and firing up the N64, with Mario Kart, Street Fighter, beer pong, and plenty of new people to meet.

You can also explore Artober’s two gallery spaces opposite the event space, with exhibitions from more than 40 artists. The galleries remain free to visit on Thursday evening.

Retro Games
Pick up a controller for some old favourites, from Mario Kart to Street Fighter. Take turns, try something you haven’t played before, or rediscover a childhood favourite.
Friendly Challenges
Fancy a little competition? Challenge a friend or someone you’ve just met to a race or a battle on the big screen. All skill levels are welcome, cheering from the sidelines is welcome too!
Indie Game Showcase
Working on your own game? We’d love to give you a chance to share it and let people have a go. Get in touch if you’d like to bring your project along, even if it’s still a work in progress.
Developers & Game Artists
Whether you make games, create video game artwork, or simply love playing, come along and meet others who share your interests. Swap ideas, talk about what you’re working on, or chat about your favourite games.
Beer Pong
Take a break from the screen and have a go at beer pong. A bit more friendly competition, with no gaming skills required.
Come & Hang Out
Bring some friends or come along by yourself. You don’t have to play anything, you’re just as welcome to watch, have a chat, and enjoy the evening.
There’s Art to Explore Too!
This event is part of Artober, so there’s plenty to enjoy beyond the event itself. Your event ticket also includes access to our two gallery spaces, just opposite the event space, where you can explore exhibitions from more than 40 artists.

Game Giveaways
We're delighted to be working with Chuhai Labs for this year's Play & Connect!
The team at Chuhai Labs have kindly provided Steam codes for some of their games to give away during the evening.
We'll share more details on the night about how to enter, so come along, play some games, meet some new people, and you could be heading home with a new game too!

You’ll find Artober’s galleries and event space opposite each other at Hibiya Okuroji, next to the VAN Jacket store.
Hibiya Okuroji is around a 5–6 minute walk from the following stations:
